My husband , myself and our two friends have stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel was conveniently placed for one of the Christmas markets at Alexanderplatz, which was the reason for our visit to Berlin. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, as was the concierge , who advised us that the cheapest way for us to travel around the city was to get a daily group travel ticket. This saved us 44 euros over three days! The rooms were immaculate and the beds were extremely comfortable. The only downside to the room, and something worth considering if you are travelling with a friend, was that the shower and toilet were part of the room encased in a glass cubicle. The breakfast buffet was varied and substantial, and even included soup as an option.Wewill definitely be returning to this hotel.

The rooms are a pretty good size by german standards. But one thing I have to complain about are the bathroom/showers. They are made of glass panels. Even with the milk glass seperating the toilet anyone in the room can see (and hear AND smell you because the bathroom is NOT a sealed room) you through it. Even if you cant see specific parts you can tell whatever action they are taking. The other thing is there is no clock anywhere in sight. Nor a refrigerator or something to keep food or drinks cool. And the internet prices are a crime. It cost 18Euros/day, or 6.50Euros/hours. So if you are planning to stay more then 3 days, be warned. DONT GET ME WRONG, I WAS ONLY POINTING OUT THE CONS. OTHER THEN THESE THE ROOM WAS FINE, AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT AND TOP NOTCH. Location was awesome as well, perfect spot for the pedestrian sight seer.

We've been staying here in September 09 for 5 days and have been really happy with our hotel experience in the Park Inn. The location on the Alexanderplatz is great to explore the city, this was the former east Berlin city center. Now this is supposed to be the new Berlin center with many sights in walking distance. The rooms have recently been refurbished, have a decent size and most importantly have been very clean. The Park Inn is the highest hotel building in Berlin, we were lucky to get a room high up so had a fantastic view over Berlin. Overall a good 4 star hotel - would always recommend it.
